After a brief stint at Michigan State University, followed by a failed attempt at a construction worker, I moved to Savannah, Georgia and attended the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2000. I graduated cum laude (3.5 GPA) three years later with a B.F.A. in Computer Art.
Following undergrad, I moved to Dallas to continue my education. In 2008, I graduated from Dallas Seminary with a M.A. in Media and Communications (3.42 GPA). While attending graduate school I began working in the non-profit video production/advertising sector. I started in 2003 as the Lead Video Editor at Dallas Seminary and by 2010 was promoted to oversee the whole department as Director of Media Production. In 2021, I was promoted to Executive Director and I oversaw a team of a dozen people, a $600K+ budget, recording over a half-a-dozen live events per week generating roughly 30 hours of content!
In 2024 I left the familiarity of the non-profit world and chased a longstanding dream of producing content for a major auto manufacturer. Joining the LA-based Pub Creative team, I was hired to be the embedded liaison for Lexus at their National Headquarters in Plano, Texas. I now have the privilege of coordinating content for web, print, and video across a variety of distribution channels at Lexus. As a content specialist, I oversee projects from concept development through final delivery, ensuring seamless execution across all phases. I am involved in leading pre-production planning, acting as director and/or producer during on-set operations, and I supervise the post-production process to guarantee delivery of high-quality, lifestyle branded content.
